Description
Kokum is also known as Garcinia Indica or Vrikshamla in Ayurveda. It is a small round purple fruit which grows on a kokum tree. It has a distinct flavor and is very commonly used as a souring agent in the traditional Indian cuisine It is also an integral part of Ayurvedic wellness and the fruit can be dried and preserved and stored for longer duration. Kokum helps in weight loss, stimulates Digestive Fire, cures severe colicky pains, Flatulence, and constipation.

How to Use:
- It can be used to replace tomatoes used in cooking to reduce inflammation in the body.
- Kokum juice in summers can be had once soaked in water add Dhage wali misri (sugar candy)
- Soak 3 kokum flowers in 60 ml of water and boil with 2 bay leaves and sip on an empty stomach as tea
